New Foglights with Wireless PILOT switch
I did the standard install for my fogs this morning, but used a wireless remote switch by PILOT, rather than the on-off switch by the emergency brake. I had to bring a single wire into the cockpit for power thru an Add-a-Fuse under the driver's dash. I found a ready-made hole behind the styrofoam block under the area where my left heel would rest.
I now have an On-Off switch on a remote fob; and can activate it when the ignition is on. When I turn the ignition Off, the fogs go off, too. All in all, a rather easy install, took about two hours. I ended up completely taking the plastic nose off the front. Also chaanged out my horn while there; installed a pair of Framms |
