Got the right part today, installed in 3 minutes, functions properly. I'm going to order the other two next week sometime. Very happy! Pics a little later once I install my newly painted trim piece.

Dammit Duck! Why the hell did you make me notice that the 09s have black knobs? ...Now I want them too.

Now my question is: are they more "finer" adjusting? I mean is there still a lot of play as with the 08 knobs? That's my peeve about the 08 knobs, they make them feel "cheap."

they felt a lot smoother to me . especially when adjusting from hot/cold or choosing a vent cycle.....

Outer ring, yes. Inner knob, no.

Sorry, still cheap I guess. I never really noticed until you said that. Meh, no biggy. =]

They look nice, but will be harder to keep clean and free of dust.

Same here... darker dashes seem to be dust magnets. Your dash looks really nice though.

I do like the look of the new knob in pic 38. On my Canadian RS I have all three knobs in black. They are the second two in pic 38. Those of you who want the same look but not the different style just order the knobs for a 2007 RS and you will get them in black. Good choice though.

Toyota Dealership. Part numbers are listed above.

You get the entire knob assembly, there is no way to order just the knobs themselves without the electronics. When I order the other two I will take pictures to show the install. You bassically unplug the wires, and pop the knob out of the plastic dash piece. It's really easy.
