Well, they're GABs, which are a Japanese brand. I guess it depends on what you think.

most JDM fads are tasteless and tacky.

JDM wheels are usually ugly, too skinny, not lightweight at all, and expensive.

now. WHEELS MADE IN JAPAN are a different story.

and yes, JDM and wheels made in japan are VERY different things.

I'll buy myself in to your second and the very last point....but i can say the same about USDM fads being tacky and tasteless...remember the good o'l spinners?

Eye of the beholder....that's all. My JDM tails aren't tacky

here's what i found out about gab wheels:

"one of the original 2 piece wheels of Japan. This design was commonly used on rear wheel drive cars in the early 90s. This is one of the few wheels made for Honda's by Gab Sports."

I used to be a honda enthusiast so thats why they caught my eye. I got some pics of them as well as a few other similar style JDM rims wich are all made in Japan and super light weight.

I like them , more like a doubled up 4 spoke look rather than the standard 8 spoke gab's . I'd say rock up or post them on ebay as "madtightrarejdm wheels" and try to make some money off them
