Thanks! I'm not sure either, but I think perhaps ABS and additional airbags. Otherwise, I think it's the same.

congrats on the purchase. Will you be doing any modifications or leaving it as stock?

I think, judging from the picture that is....that i see the center air vents being black rather than silver...maybe the difference?

they were black starting in 09

Thanks again. I really like it a lot in just the few days I've had it. I'm referring to it as my "CFGRV" (Carbon Footprint Guilt Relief Vehicle). :) No tach, and I suspect that's either standard with a stick, or part of the S package. I went with the automatic, to give me the option to get a break from shifting in the other car. And, I do plan to leave it stock.

The bumpers front and rear along with the tailights are different from the 1st and 2nd gen Yaris here in the states. Along with the knobs design for the vents (old ones were grooved, the new series is small little grips) and the backlighting color is orange instead of green on the older ones.

Also, the 2010 has VSC and Traction control standard and it can't be turned off!!!!!

Those are also features of '09. I should know, have both '07 & '09.
