Spoiler or No spoiler?

Hi there, i'm not sure want decision to take.
I'm asking your opinions.
Thanks for sharing.

Here are my three choices of spoiler:

Yaris sedan trunk lip spoiler (painted)
(About 200$ + shipping on ebay)

Yaris sedan OEM Spoiler (painted)
(About 140$ shipped on ebay)

Yaris sedan TRD VIOS spoiler
(170$ from MI + shipping not painted and not sure for exact fitting)

++

TRD! That lip spoiler is almost not there. I like the TRD one myself.

I would tackle the performance/handling aspects before the cosmetic ones, but the TRD spoiler does look quite nice...

My girlfriend said "it's like an handle to close the trunk"
My preference would go to the TRD one, but the fact i have to paint it and make it fit discourage me a bit.

I would start with performance first, but out of the choices I would go with TRD..

To me it all depends on your vehicle color...the lip one looks fine on the color like Kevin's. I think that the Vios spoiler looks good with Brian's color. For my color I do actually prefer the OEM spoiler that I have. I am actually looking to try something custom next spring. If you are not going to put real performance parts into the car then the spoiler is purely cosmetic anyway and as stated it just adds more weight which means less OEM performance, etc. What color is your sedan?

I vote for no spoiler. The TRD one does look best by far, but save your money for other performance things first.

I'd go for something suble and classy like the (almost non-existent) spoiler on the E39 BMWs. It's closest to your first pic but even more suble. Then again, I don't know what style you're going for with your Yaris, but I've seen one on this forum with a similar small spoiler and IMHO it looked good.

Here's a pic and here's another to get the idea.

I voted for performance mods first. That said, pick the spoiler you like looking at best. Remember, you are the one that have to drive it.

That TRD one looks pretty sharp.

If not that, then whatever is next on your handling mods.

If you're gonna get a lip spoiler, why even bother? IMO.

Lip spoiler is by far the bes not showy yet to the point, lol he ended up having the same color car as me.
