hmmm... I don't know which I hate most: bullies or lawyers?

can't comment on this particular story but the radio or podcast with the funny aussie accent is pretty cool!

Some people say lawyers are overpaid bullies, so I say both.

Funny Aussie accents eh! We think Americans sound funny.

i think kids that bully need to be immediately placed in special schools. Like military school, but more strict. Pound them into dirt so they learn to be normals.

One bad bully can haunt a child for years afterwards, and the effects could last an entire lifetime. It cannot be tolerated.

They do have special facilities for them. Alternative Education is for the mildest cases (kids who have problems learning because of anger, violent, and conflict-driven behavior usually), followed by Juvenile Halls and Probation Camps (for full-fledged pre-teen to teenage gang-bangers). Only thing that's in next up the ladder are military schools and boot camps, but too many kids don't go through it because of the very high cost to parents. But yeah you're right, that would be the best way to straighten their asses up (assuming they don't have any moderate to severe psychiatric disorders)...

Wouldn't military school be free?

Why can't the parents just be allowed to take a belt to their asses without having to fear prison time? That straightened me up, and it didn't make the tax payers liable for my screw ups.

+1. I wasn't a bully but I got the whoopin's of a lifetime from my dad for my shenanigans, and let's just say I'd probably be in prison now if he didn't lay down the law...

Too bad the bullies I had to grow-up around didn't get disciplined early on

Not any I've heard of around here. Is it free in your country?

I'm not sure if we even have military school here.

A lot of "bullies" learned that behavior from their parents.

But what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Do you really want the younger generation growing up to be bunch of soft @$&es? I agree with the alternative schooling for repetitive altercations. But a lil tough love goes a long way. It only took me one time getting my @$& beat to learn to go for the throat. All it takes is you bashing a bully's head into the wall a couple of times to ease the bullying. My .02
