Here's a picture of my (dirty) engine bay. The rubbing areas make the intake twist a bit towards the fan, which I guess is actually not so bad?

Also, the steel base could be a bit shorter to avoid further rubbing at the front:

yeah for those two parts i put some padding to cushion the intake a little. perhaps
buy a braille battery too ? i'd highly recommend putting some sort of padding though.

That is correct, one left only. I have more stuff coming from Simota
soon but this is it for the CF intakes for a long time. They are really nice
but not cheap.

can you "hear the difference" lol, i can't really tell in the videos. while i'm driving, i hear more of a lower sound coming from the intake. certainly different from the weapon-r sri i had in my tc.
