toyota yaris sedan, missing flap just inside fuel filler neck - Toyota Yaris Forums

I noticed this morning when I fueled my 2007 Sedan that the flap just inside the fuel filler neck was missing. Am I just crazy or should it be there? I bounce between several cars and could have sworn it had one but now I'm not so sure.

If anyone can confirm or not that it's suppose to have one? Just wondering if I should be concerned that if it was there and is now in the tank should I go looking for it in the tank.

Thanks for any comments or suggestions.

My 2007 does not have the little flap.

Sorry, just had an image of you diving into your fuel tank.

Anyway, I don't think there are flaps on the Yaris HB or sedan.

thank you. I visions of the flap plugging the fuel inlet to the fuel pump.
