Honestly I'm not worried (I dont play songs with alot of bass though...). But instead of wood I would recommend using MDF, which is what you are suppose to use... the only reason why i didnt use MDF was that I drove my yaris to the store that I was getting the wood/supplies (new drill bit and saw blade) and the only size MDF they had was a 4ftx6ft.


There are aftermarket speaker brackets... I'll see if I can find it. But if you use MDF you wont have to worry about it breaking or the speaker coming "free".
