My Wife's '07 Yaris RS 5DR - Blazing Blue

Hi Everyone - I finally got around to taking some pics of my wife's RS. It's an '07 5dr Auto with the OEM Tom Tom Navigation System, arm rest, and Borla tip. No other additions other than a dedicated set of winter wheels and tires.

Cheers.

Nice car! OEM navigation? Cool. Is is just a tip or a Borla muffler?

Cheers. The OEM Nav system is a re-badged Eclipse AVN2210p that Toyota was selling as an option for the '08 Yaris.

It came with the wiring harness adapter already spliced on and labeled "Toyota" on the front of the unit - it was a 20 minute plug 'n play install.

It was discontinued and I was able to get it for a very good price. I also had to order a new trim bezel to replace the original black RS bezel as it was too wide.

The Borla is just a tip.

Nice, it's always great to see a well-cared-for Yaris!

And I'd wager you have kids. Why? Because you have carpeted floor mats in the front, but rubber ones in the back seats.

Cheers! M2

Thanks for the compliment!

Points for trying... but... no kids.

I had removed the rubber front mats to wash and dry... was too lazy to put them back in for the photo.

nice...a lot of people actually don't realize that the stock Toyota H/U's are made by Fujitsuten which is also who makes Eclipse. I have a CD3200 and as far as I am concerned it would take ALOT to get me to buy anything but an Eclipse.

Actually, the mere fact that the car was so cleaned made me suspect you didn't; the only reason my Yaris is so clean is because I rarely let my kids ride in it! But I'm not cruel, we've got a minivan and a Jeep they can be slobs in; but my Yaris is off-limits. Heck, I've had it almost two years and earlier this week was the first time I've let my wife drive it for any considerable distance!

But on the flip side, my Yaris looks like it just came off the showroom floor. Our five-year-old minivan looks like it just came off the battlefield!

Cheers! M2

Agreed - our "Tom Tom" unit has alot of features: removable/portable GPS unit, mp3/wma, usb, bluetooth speaker etc... plus the illumination matches the RS orange dash display. I liked it so much I put one in my '93 Toyota 4x4 ext-cab (which I just sold )

Funny that you said that - we have a '93 Paseo that I use as a commuter and "mule" when we are driving friends around - putting people in the back of the Yaris hurts as its our (my wife's) "newest" car.

We also have an '03 Explorer that I just bought to replace my '93 Toyota 4x4 that I just sold:

It was a painful day when I let my truck go.

No, it is a simple clamp on tip w/o any change in sound - that being said - it does make the rear end look better

Its going to stay with us for quite a while - its very simple to work on, but I will say that the water based paint job is less than durable.

Oddly enough, some (myself included) have noticed a deeper change in tone from the $14 generic tip by Pilot Motorsports that Walmart sells...

Cheers! M2

That rear hatch spoiler looks great!

Btw, your rear bumper protector looks much better than the one on my wife's car - is it an OEM piece or aftermarket?
