Crashy Update: Plow Frame is done!


I was hoping to get more welding done this weekend, but I ended up wasting a ton of time dealing with leaves. I think Crashy needs a turbo leaf vacuum next.

Here's Crashy playing in the leaves:

And, here's the plow frame. I welded it out of 2" x 2" x 3/16" box tubing. My plow mounts with two 1-1/2" round pins, so the mounting points are two pieces of 1-1/2" solid round bar. The next step is adding the brush guard and radiator support frame to it.

How'd you get to be so dang smart? With all the time you spend contributing to YarisWorld, doing drywall, laying pavers, developing the crashy monster etc...You must have a couple of clones running around.

A little more welding for Crashy - This weekend I finished up the plow frame and built her brush guard. The $100 hydraulic pipe bend that I bought is a real hassle. Before I start the roll cage I'll have to get a better one.
