In the beginning, I used to completely forget about the compartment behind the steering wheel. Once, I forgot my breakfast in there. Out of sight, out of mind. Found it a few days later.

The compartment I forget the most now is the top one, passenger side, hardly ever use it.

hahaha not totally blonde... when i just got my yaris i was looking for a lever to open my trunk from the driver's seat.. and i found one lever with a picture of the car with an open trunk. so i pulled it, and the hood popped open..

I know I hated it too! The only thing I wish is that the made it more grippy. The plastic has little grooves in it, but its SUPER SLICK so stuff slides wayy to easy.

Get some of that foamy/grippy shelf liner in black and lay it down when you need to transport stuff back there. Should keep it in place.
