Did this happen at GMR? The trees used to stop cars from sliding down the mountain like you did. I guess they haven't really grown back since the fire. I've seen many friends get hurt and lost an Uncle to the mountain roads around LA so I'm glad you're ok.

How was the hike back up the mountain side?

Wow.... Wow... Just wow... I'm glad that you are OK. It sucks that airbags didn't deploy after you landed on the river! I have been worried about the side crash ratings of Yaris but now I'm paranoid. I may have to get a safer car.

Wait, let me get this straight. Just because he has a modded car and got into an accident, you automatically assume that he was racing? There are other variables in an accident.

Besides did i ever say it was at gmr? I was the only vehicle involved, who was a racing? If i was doing something wrong, stupid, or illegal why would i share that? Maybe i was wrong to share this..

Thank you everyone for your concerns. I'll be alright, I already miss my car. I'm not regretting what happened like, "damn if only i didnt do this or that i'd still have my car.", because it was honestly a freak accident I had no idea was coming. It just sucks, but like everyone says, I came out a live with barely any injuries and thats all I need to get everything back on track. I'll get another car and then maybe in the future I'll buy another yaris sedan, I loved that car too much it would be nice to drive it again..stick this time of course. :P

I only decided to share this on YW cause you guys are the only ones who understand what owning a yaris was and know what I'm going through. Plus over the years so many of you helped build up my car to what it was today. I only thought it was right to share the the end of my car here because this is where everything with my car started. So yeah, probably wont be around here as much anymore, maybe I'll lurk around the sales for wheels or the california section sometimes. Yup.

OK, we'll watch it, thanks.

Last thing someone needs when they get into an accident like this, is inconsiderate DB comments.

OP, glad you're OK. Poor car. You must have been scared to death coming out of there. I know I would be. :(

Given the posting history I've seen so far that seems to be the only type of comments MaineYaris12 knows how to make. Very un-Mainer like, actually.

EII, glad your ok after all that. Good luck with everything and thanks for letting us know.
