I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the only yaris's that "Beep" are the ones in PR.... i was thinking of taking a look at the service manual (more so at the keyless entry section/pages) and see where I could tap in a "horn"...

anyone?

I want to turn mine off! Just a stealth wink of the blinkers is good enough.

if you have the alarm then it will beep, otherwise you need to tap into the horn and do some wiring....

Weird story here- I bought my Yaris brand new in October, and I always noticed the little "reset button" on my keyless entry key. Also, the panic button would not work. Well, when I was tinkering around the fuse box trying to install an amp, I crossed the wrong wires somewhere and my doors would not stay locked! They would automatically unlock by themselves right after I pressed the switch on the door (my keyless would not work at all). When I disconnected the wires for my amp to root out the prblem, everything went back to normal, AND found out the that "reset" button was actually a little red light that now worked and so does the panic button... go figure I screw something up and end up making something work! That was a first!
