A few more pics:
Top is before (after wash though), bottom is after everything. Pic is of the propped up hood. (I didn't bother washing the wheels and tires since I'll end up replacing them soon enough) Last edited by Kaotic Lazagna; 09-29-2018 at 07:38 PM. |

ahhh reminds me of my car when it used to sleep in the garage, doing "the works" on it, now the dirt gives it character.

I just saw the pictures of your detail now. Looks amazing! I guess Scratch-X is what I need, since I've noticed rubbing compound isn't enough to get the swirlies out. I don't have power tools, either (nowhere to plug in), but I do clay bar, compound, and wax every year or so, and just a wash and wax every few months to get the dust and bird$#*& off.

Sorry, there were no updates until today. I'll make a separate post though.

Looking good! Just noticed those 2 little pipes in the front lower grill, mind if I ask what those are for?

I have the manual somewhere, I forget the brand, but it cost the original owner over 900 bucks. Yup, these little cars are great. That's why I went back to the Yaris when I wanted a second car. |

Awesome! Bronze goes really well with blue. I'd go with bronze too if I ever got alloy wheels for my car.

I was concerned that the bronze would be too brown (looks like it on Tire Rack), but in person, they really are more, well, bronze. Although, I did clean, clay bar, (paint) polish, and threw on 2 coats of wax on each wheel (face, barrel, and back of face), so that may have altered the color a bit (like it did on the blazing blue). |
