Just picked up my Yaris

After a long wait I received my Mettallic Meteorite HB I ordered. I was very suprised when the dealer realized they made a $300.00 mistake. So after some negotiation they sold me the car for $13008 with floor mats, fog lights & the power package. As I was signing the paperwork I realized I had not even test drove the car! Well after 50 miles today I am happy. The car is what I thought it would be. Braking, handeling & acceliration is what I expected from an econo box. I have been used to V8's & turbo V6 cars so I was a little worried it would be undrivable. On Monday I will be installing some wheels & tires. And as soon as I receive the first set of Arospeed lowering springs I will be putting them on. Pics will be ASAP.

So how much was the MSRP with optional equipment and delivery, processing, and handling fee? How much did you get off of that amount?

Wow, you got the power package included with an automatic for only $13,000. I believe they made a big mistake and you got away with like over $2,000 less than the usual price of a car like that. Check out the toyota website and check out the price of a yaris like you got and what the price is.

Yaris 3-Door Liftback 4-Speed Automatic
Base Price:*
$11,950
Delivery, Processing
& Handling Fee:**
$620
Options:
$2,890
Accessories:
$0
Total MSRP:***
$15,460

Or did you get the manual. That would make it $950 dollars cheaper.

Congrats! You'll be the envy of many! I wouldn't tell too many people what you paid for a seemingly impossible to find power package on the liftback!
Can't wait for pictures!

Here is the break down:
$10950 5 spd HB Metallic Meteorite
$1200 Powerpackage
$110 fog lamps
$159 floor mats
$589 Dealer fees
Total $13008
After going on the Toyo website I see what the problem was. The price of
the car, dealer fees & options were less when I ordered the car 7 weeks ago. Apperantly they are more now.

I thought I got a good deal. I paid sticker which was $14,400.00. That was for:
Red LB
Auto
Power Package (steel wheels)
Floor Mats

I tried to get side curtain airbags, but they were not available on the LB with power package That almost made me walk away from the deal. I'll probably trade mine in in a couple of years for a LB (5 door hopefully) with side airbags. I work in the city and side airbags would give me a little more peace of mind since they cut deaths from side impacts about 45%.

I was EXTREMELY pissed when they told me I couldn't get the side curtain airbag option on my liftback. Not much you can do about it, but why even talk about it if customers aren't going to have the option to get it? Its stupid.

I was at the dealership going over the car and the sticker and I was like "Wait a minute... where are my side airbags..." I was ready to scrap the deal. I tried to squeeze some wheels or something out of the mistake the manager made. He looked at the order again and found out the conflict between the Power Package and side airbags. Does anyone know if these packages / options can ever co-exist?

Can't these Toyota packages just get along!
