I spend 90% of my time on MI now as well, mainly due to the hours of operation and the server always being up.

Still enjoy YW - just frustrating that it's down every night/morning, and that the admins obviously don't care.

The mods do a great job with the (lack of) tools they are given.

I would venture a guess that the admins have in fact been watching, and that they have taken steps to rectify the problem. I haven't had issues with the site for almost a week now. I agree with the notion that they haven't publicly commented on it to prevent encouragement of the attacker(s).

I've been here since I bought my car in 09 and can think of once I've seen an admin post. It's unfortunate, but this community is still pretty good IMO. Yaris is a tertiary interest of mine though, so I generally spend a few weeks posting and then fall off the world for a few weeks.

Anyway, there are much worse forums out there.

i doubt it. more likely is that whoever was doing it was ip blocked, or got bored and went on to bug someone else.

did you at least turn your head and get a Dr's note stating that you didn't incur a hernia?

I could make a pretty damn good argument that I shouldn't have, after the way Bueller treated me after the hack. But I don't roll that way.

With that said, I built Micro Image to represent all small cars, have relevant content and have 100% uptime if possible. I have dedicated a server to just the one site. Nothing wrong with offering an alternative. YW dominates for the one car it represents.
i kinda find this funny...... MI is down today for me. okay garm, 99.9% is still very good.

id just like to say website crashes are fairly normal and should be expected, technology sucks. i dont hold anything against YW or MI. yes YW is down more and i'd also like if they did something about it but hey, its a free fourm and i dont have to deal with advertising popups. im happy with what we have

Just my $0.02
