Tamago said he isn't able to go this week or this weekend because he's racing, but he said he will try to get him and send him to me - he lives an hour away from Enth so it's kinda difficult. That's promising though :) :)

Tamago is gonna get Bamboo? Right on!!

I need to stop checking this thread. Of all the things going on in my life right now, I find that one of my top worries is what's happening with a stuffed panda on the other side of the country. Maybe I ought to have my head examined

It's just ... well.. I think you'll understand when you meet Bamboo in person.

okay what confuses me, is that the little guy could make it to both australia and thailand without a problem, but can't make it from florida to minnesota...

ok, well i hope that he turns up soon, so that the little guy can continue on his journey...

and Enth, if you are reading this, please hurry up and get the little guy to jbougie...

I can't even think of what to say, and that's super unusual for me (obviously).

Maybe if we passed around a LIVE animal it would get treated better.

+1

I think we need to completely rethink the rules and only send the panda to peeps who can be tracked down, go to meets, know other YW members in RL, etc.

Also, have you peeps thought of maybe having the panda travel from state to state? If he did, maybe he could be driven from one person to the next?

If the panda is to be mailed, could you all put a delivery confirmation sticker on him so it can be tracked?

Just some random frustrated thoughts, I guess.

Yea, I totally agree with phone numbers. Person to person passing might make it a bit more difficult, because (for me anyway) walking down to the post office is a helluva lot easier than driving to OH. Plus, we would have to reorganize the list , some states are bigger than others (I'm looking at you, Texas), and some of us just don't live in the US.

Also +1 tracking.

We could also just install a GPS device onto Bamboo with a live feed to a YW page....

^ Yeah, i understand.

I've been looking for an excuse to do a x-country trip, though.
Seriously, that is something I've been wanting to do for a long time.

Maybe I should go get Bamboo (rev engine)

I am more than willing to make the drive ..................

He wasn't there. I have given up :( It's a really mean thing to do, especially after people forked over cash to get Bamboo bought/decorated.

I am hoping that Tamago can make some headway and either get him, or at least tell dude to mail him.

He can send him COD! I'll pay!

on the backseat is probably OK.

Under the seat, on the other hand ...

I don't want to post any more pictures of his visit. I don't want to be the only one posting in this thread! :/
