LED 194 Parking Light Bulbs Installed [pics]

If you are looking for something other then the same old BLUE painted 194 wedge bulb that keeps the reflective housing tinted blue, even when off.... it's time for some HiLED Parking Lights!

Benifits over the standard halogen bulb is, they will last much longer, be much brighter, and when using an HID kit, will be bright enough to actually match! (mine do )

If interested, please PM me direct for PRICING!

Simple install, HUGE overall difference!

Packaging shots..

Installed, turned OFF.

Installed, JUST parking lights (HiLED) ON.

A little further back...

Installed in a door housing, just to show the brightness of these HiLEDs.
NOTE, these are made for STRAIGHT halogen replacement installs, not for side illumination like this lens used as an example.

Enjoy.

The LED bulbs itself produce a brighter light, but the light is concentrated into a small beam and they reflect less, so overall they light less... very confusing.

Try to take pics of the lights at night (without flash as well) but remember to use a tripod for the camera to prevent fuzzy pics! hehehehe

1. The light projects 120 degrees, and when compared next to the stock bulb produce MUCH more light.

2. At night, with just the parking lights ON, the entire headlight housing is illuminated. If parked 10ft away from a wall, you can actually see the light cast on the wall. Not enough light to drive by, but plenty bright compared to the stock halogens.

3. I dont use a flash at night, and I always use a Tripod.

This post was to show an ALTERNATIVE to using COLORED bulbs that cast less light, and IMO look like shit when turned off (reflects blue color inside the housing). Besides, its a PARKING LIGHT for god sake, its not rocket science.

Thanks for your concern though.

These were designed, and then manufactured by a good friend of mine out in California.

They have been working on all different sizes, to replace standard halogen bulbs.

Actually what is the park light for? Just wondering...

Also, can they be used as the license plate light and interior light as well?

those pics don't do justice. they actually look blue in the pics, which they are not. for example (i also did the led-194 route for the rear plate lighting):

^trust me, that's not the true color, it's pure white in person. i guess the camera can't really catch that... i'm doin replacement for every 194 bulb i see in the future.

nice modding chris. lookin forward to your other diy/mods.

if you can set the white balance on the license plate you will get the true color of the light in the shot. its probably not the camera its the photographer ;-)

it's both in my case. lo-buck camera, and lazy to adjust white balance on the plate.

sorry for the hijack. lol.
