Trev0006 - SPAMMER
It has come to my attention that a particular website uses this username constantly to advertise videos on their site.
No matter what forum you're looking at, this member is ALWAYS there and constantly posts videos to one single site. Blatantly spamming for clicks. Every single forum I'm a member of (including this one) has this person. A short list off the top of my head: B15Sentra.net (banned) LotusTalk (banned) SupraForums (not banned) SRTForums (not banned) YarisWorld (not banned) I notify the forum of this moron because I hate to see everyone get exploited by this form of spam. Try it yourself. The next forum you visit, search for his username. If you discover this username, please report it, and pass along this message.

User name doesn't ring a bell, and I'm on 3 forum sites.

I found 5 posts with 2 of them having links in them. No I did not click on them.
How bad is he? I can think of others that are a lot worse…

Besides, issues like this are better handled through site admins not the open forums. |

Oh come on, that's as stupid as saying "if you get sexual pleasure from being raped, what's the problem?" See how the premise is still fundamentally wrong?
I'll tell you where the issue is 1) This is NOT a person. This is a spam bot. 2) The videos are posted to get as many clicks as possible on the site. Every click makes them money. 3) Do autoforums see any of that money? No 4) Spam is spam, no matter how you slice it. Have you not noticed how shitty the site is? The only purpose for it is for advertisement, and I'm fucking tired of seeing his dumb ass threads being reposted on every single forum I frequent.

^ take it up with a Mod or Admin. Click the little ! icon and report the posts, they will be removed IF they violate the site's rules and guidelines.
Did you do that on this site??? You didn't answer this question: "if they are on topic and forum members get enjoyment, whats the problem?" (I'm not saying if they are or aren't, by the way, just repeating the question)

He has 5 posts over the last 3 months. These are all links to the Yarisworld Threads only. #1 - 1/17/10 Response in someone else's thread, his post has no external link: Prius on Steriods #2 - 1/17/10 Response in someone else's thread, his post has no external link: Internet Trolls #3 - 1/28/10 First Thread he started - Post contains Link to "dpccars.com" Prius Stuck Throttle - What you can do Video removed by user, his link leads to a moderately safe site as far as I'm concerned, although not a very good site IMO. SilverBack was the 2nd post on this one. #4 - 3/13/10 Second Thread he started - Post contains Link to "dpccars.com" How hard is it to stop a Prius His link leads to a moderately safe site as far as I'm concerned, although not a very good site IMO. #5 - 3/18/10 Response in someone else's thread, his post has no external link: How to get out of being towed Well holy cow, it looks like QR25DE_SpecV might be right, this guy is a loose cannon. With a post count like that he could flood this site with videos sometime after the end of the next century. Ignore the fact that the two video links he posted are/were Toyota related and his post rate is 0.05 per day. |
