this just came in my inbox this evening.
------------------------
Hi,

Thanks for your interest in Rotrex. You have selected an excellent timing to ask that question.

Our partner Power Enterprise (http://www.powerenterpriseusa.net/), that I cc in this correspondance, is working on a kit set for the Yaris, which will be released in the very near future.

You shall hear from PE in the very near future regarding further information.

Best regards,

Niels Ohlsen

**WARNING**
n00b-ish Questions

Do you need to upgrade internals when adding a Supercharger/Turbo?
After the SC do you need to upgrade to a higher octane gas?

I believe a supercharger is just a bolt on

Turbo is a different thing; you will need to change internals you will need to use higher octane gas, etc, etc...

Some of the guys on this forum that have turbo on their Yaris have not changed any internals but I believe they are running low boost.

Not as easily as with a turbo, as you need to swap the SC pulley for a different sized one.

Although, the Blitz SC kit has some kind of a gearbox system inside that allows you to choose different levels of boost depending on how you want to drive... very interesting

I had a Jackson Racing supercharger- roots style - on my 1998 CR-V and I got nowhere near the performance they are claiming. I also had to use premium gas and got poor mileage. Maybe these centrifugal superchargers are better than the 10 year old roots type.

The install on my CR-V was a friggin nitemare too!

You can have things like rods and pistons custom made, but it isn't cheap.

The Scion xA that has the Danstoy ITB kit used to run a supercharger but he removed it due to the amount of damage done to his piston rings. He was running 7 PSI.

Good luck boosting the 1NZ.
