good to know i still look good lol.... just some back story i said when my ex wife left (shes was a cheating whore i found out) that i wouldn't cut my hair until either i could get her back or that a divorce was final. It was a calling and something i had to do for me. This hair was a symbol of the sacrifices ive made and the goals i have achieved. I'm going to cut it in the next week or so because the divorce will finally be over with. I will keep a shorter hair style for about a year and i think i will grow it back out again. But honestly i dont want anyone to have this hair. Ive helped with lock for love but this is a very personal thing that i have to do. Again any suggestions on short hair styles would be appreciated. I am also considering a medium style so go wild folks and i will post the results!!!!

Yeah, you look good !
Do what you need to do. Hair grows out fast, so it's not like it's permanent or anything. I like a layered cut myself, for guys and for myself, as well. it's a question of preference, but it depends on the hair. It looks from your photo that you can get away with *any* style (that's a compliment, BTW ) . Can you post a photo of your hair in a pony tail? That'll give us a better idea. If you look good with a ponytail, then you'll look good with a short hair cut. You know what, having short hair is kind of a relief in the beginning, so easy to wash or get out of bed and just go as you are. |

check this out
photo No. 1 is real cute, real easy to maintain. A little gel or mousse with your fingers, and off you go http://myhair-style.blogspot.com/201...-hair-cut.html Photo no. 2 and 3 are not so good. You'll have your hair in your face and in your eyes pretty much constantly and it grows out weird plus it doesn't look that good. If you Google "men hair cut" you'll have a good idea of what's out there. Then post up the links, next to a photo of your face, and we'll tell ya what looks good. Good luck, it's a tough one (I got my first decent hair cut only a month ago since I cut my hair short some years back - had a lot of crappy hair cuts in between , so think about that, too. It's hard to find a good stylist So you want to keep it simple so you can go anywhere. Most of the time, my BF said I looked like the opera house in Sydney, Australia, especially when I got out of bed in the morning ;) It's this building but yeah, I really did look like that, still have the photos to prove it |

No, I meant you ;)
That'll work I think. It's an easy style, hard to mess up, and easy to grow your hair from that |

Sorry you don't feel you can donate your hair, but to each his own...
Have fun with it while you can, believe it or not, it ain't here forever: in my case, it slid down the sides of my head, and now grows well out of my ears, nose, and on my chin, and MUST be cut regularly! |

Honestly, while I do miss it a little; having long hair in southcentral Texas isn't much fun. It's too hot here, and driving around in an open Jeep with it is a pain in the ass! However, it was fun to watch those pinheads in their fart-can Civics and Neons come screaming up on the Jeep thinking it was some hot chick driving it, only to see my ugly ass face with a handlebar mustache and a Custer-style goatee grinning back at them! Sometimes I would even blow them a kiss... These days I keep it shaved down into a high-and-tight flattop, much more comfortable and less maintenance. I just have to remember to apply sunscreen up there when driving the Jeep! Cheers! M2
