Talking Sacramento Meet October 30th

OK guys and gals!!!

Friday, October 30th is our regular meetup day. Starts at 7pm, but you can arrive anytime after 5pm.
This event will be held at miniTRD's house:

Clark - (916)798-5551
1121 Sherburn Avenue
Sacramento, CA 95822

We will be having a potluck, SO PLEASE LIST WHAT YOU WILL BRINGING! (don't want 30lbs of potatoe salad, LOL)

There will also be a pumpkin carving contest! BYOPumpkin!!! We will have stencils, knives, tools, etc. Winner will get a prize of undetermined value at this time.

I will have the firepit going if it is cold.

Of course I want to have a movie playing on the outdoor screen, so please list your suggestions as well.

Depending on how late this will all take, we will try to make another CSUS photoshoot.

So here's the list:

1. miniTRD/Clark - BBQs, coolers, fridge,plates, knives, forks, cups - movie Jason X
2.
3.
4.
5.

ooops, sorry . . . .

Meet start time is 7pm. You can come over anytime after 5pm if that fits your schedule better, but I may put you to work LOL.

btw there should be plenty of parking, we'll use the yards as necessary but only the really cool cars get the up close and personal spots!

Tell me about it. Lost $50 in gas going up and down to Sacramento this week! MPG at 90MPH is not that as impressive as 55MPH unfortunately.

What my main concern really though is that this is so late in the day. Anybody driving a long distance won't want to stay half as long as it takes to drive there plus drive back down.

Edit: Also your neighbor got caught on google maps while on his phone outside haha.

Edit2: I should say I'm undecided about this atm. Going to see if I can make it up. I would definitely love to be able to! Also, a meet spot for the Bay Area folks to drive up all together would be awesome as well.

Shawn, i had trouble staying awake when leaving James house friday night. And i got home 2 hours later (1:50am doing 80mph) because 880 S exits were blocked off almost at all the spots....

I'm down to drive up as one big group together.

P.S. if you do 75-80 mph you'll get decent mpgs...I filled up that night and have 3 bars left with 279 miles for that tank..try it~

The meet spot for us should be ranch 99 in Milpitas. Very close to 680 and perfect for me and others...

Dude I know I was exhausted that day from the drive up and plus there was construction that started in my house at 7:30AM which woke me up. I had to bail early before you got to James' because I was falling asleep in his house but I was really looking forward to seeing you put the cluster in!

This sounds good. Me and fmicle are so far down south here that any meet spot up north really isn't a problem. I gotta find out when my major assignments are due and when the next wave of midterms is and if it looks good I'll put in my time off request for the weekend.

this sounds like fun, but if I leave after work, in traffic, I'd never make it up there by 7. :(

Exclamation hi peeps!

This meet is open to everyone. It is one of our Friday night meets for CIA - californiaimportalliance.com, but we always have other people and clubs welcome. Usually people from Sacramento Scikotics, the 9th Gen folks, basically anyone and their friends show up.

This is just a basic get-together with food, fun, and great people.

As for photoshoots - we use the CSU Sacramento parking garage at night as well as some other places.

This will be going to all hours - if you want to some mods while you are here I also have all the necessary tools and airtools to do most jobs. Just let me know what you want to do and I'll make sure we have what you need. I've lowered and done suspension work on multiple cars, done exhaust and engine swaps, ICE installations, you name it.

I'll post more as the event nears, but anyone and their friends are welcome!
