Eyelids :(
Well I went to a local gas station today and decided to go ahead and do a car wash there because they give you a discount if you get gas at the same time. In the middle of the car wash, I hear something crack, that sounded like plastic. And when I got home, I saw that the corner of one of my eyelids got taken off.
My only guess is that one of those towel-spinning-things nicked it out during the wash. So now my car is back to normal, and I don't have the money at the moment to get them at full price again. :[ Anyone sedan owners out there possibly selling a pair of eyelids? Any color is fine.

That is why if my Yaris does go through a car wash, it is one of those "touchless" types...

I've been through this car wash multiple times even with my eyelids on, but this never happened.

May this be a lesson to handwash. Your yaris deserves better. ;)

Ouch! That sucks...
I think a way to prevent that from happening would've been to add a bit of double-sided tape right below the tip... Do you still have the broken portion, you might be able to repair it, although you may still be able to see the crack on the paint... I may be able to sell you just one piece if you want... PM me to let me know if you're interested.

And I'm definitely not going to back to an automatic car wash unless anymore. Manual labor FTW.

You can have my eyelids for the cost of shipping. I won't be able to ship them out until next weekend though. If you can wait a week and a half they're yours.

They are made from high quality fiberglass and resins.

Well, I went through the car wash for the first time since getting my eyelids, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't a touchless one (its the kind where you get out and it goes through without you, so i didnt see..) but its a good wash so I assume its a tough car wash. And my eyelids are fine! Might just be the magic work of kuyachris as he's the one who stuck them on well.. but yea, no cracks here. your car wash must be brutal!
