Supercharged Yaris's new exhaust setup...AGAIN.

Well, as most of you know, when I changed to my 2.25" no cats, 18" resonator headerback exhaust setup, it was pretty LOUD. As much as I didn't want to, I had to get rid of my magnaflow muffler and switch to a quieter one. I sold the magnaflow, did some research, and found a cheap hi-flow muffler (not straight thru), the Dynomax super turbo muffler. Pretty cheesy name.

I don't mine sacrificing the hair of performance for the gain of having a quiet exhaust. I also painted it black with some hi temp paint. Nothing flashy here, going for the subtle exhaust look now. I also installed a Magnaflow hi flow cat. Now the bad smell is gone too. Also, to me, the sound is not ricey at all and it gives a surprisingly deep tone. Now my exhaust doesn't drain out the beautiful supercharger whine anymore. I couldn't ask for more.

Here's a the video! Please keep negative comments to yourself. I don't want another Tamago in my thread.

I LOVED the look of my magnaflow, but it worth it to switch to get a more quiet sound. Strangely, I like how this one looks OEM. I couldn't live with it if it wasn't painted black. It's hard to see from far away and it seems as if there isn't any exhaust setup. They'll be like, "The guy is dropped with rims, but doesn't even have a stupid exhaust. What a loser." Then they hear my supercharger whine. Oh yes, love it.

What happened? You got tired of the sound or someone else complain?

It reminds me of Largeorangefont's exhaust.

I've said it once and I'll keep saying it, I don't get persuaded by other people's views or opinions. I could careless if they loved it or hated it.

From day one I said it was loud. So I wanted it to be quiet. Simple.

ps: I think it's more quiet than your TRD axleback. :P
