Just got my 2010 Yaris 3DR Hatchback Automatic
Just got it two days ago in LA. I paid $15,595 with the power package and that includes everything. Without TTL, it was $13,822. However, when I got home I found a small scratch ( you have to really look closely to notice it) in the front fender and some scruff marks. I didn't notice it at the dealership. It also had 60 miles on it. Color is pearl blue. I was really surprised at the handling ability and the torque for a small car. It's really fun to drive, no kidding.

Take it back to the dealer. They'll take those scratches out for you at no cost. Many happy driving with your new ride.

Congrats! Welcome to yarisworld.
Quite sure the dealer would be happy to buff out a minor fender scratch no charge. |

Congrats!
The dealer may be willing to do a quick buff for free but don't expect nothing more. Once you drive it off the lot, any damage found can't be blamed on the dealer. They just assume you damaged it. They have no responsibility for any paint work, ect. If the scratch is deep enough to catch your finger nail, it probably won't buff out. |

You're right, Kal-El, the scratch did catch on my finger nail. I have an appointment today at the dealership and they said they will take care of it. There were several others (they are all on the bumper) but could be just scuff marks.

I went the dealer yesterday and it turned out some of the scratches were just scuff marks which they fixed but there were two scratches that were deep which couldn't really be fixed without showing a line. One was 1/8 inch line and the other so small I didn't notice it before. I guess I'm just being anal as it's not really noticeable. But thanks everyone for all your nice comments. I lost my digital camera a few months ago but I'll post pictures once I get a new one.
