i'm cursed by the driveline gods.

4-puck unsprung clutch on stock power, never launched hard, driven barely 4000 miles and here's what we have (but i'm so glad it wasn't what i thought, broken output shaft)

it could be. but it was built by my specs, and was very tight (no backlash) when i installed it. i'm gonna see what the clutch house says when i show it to them next week. hopefully i get something out of the deal.

Wouldn't riding the clutch help prevent the spines from stripping?

I kept breaking the driveshafts on my bronco, I got tired of replacing it so I sold the car; but it had a clutch that I think was improperly repaired/replaced-- which is when all this started to go down. to this day i still have no idea wtf was wrong with that car; engine would just not die, but the transmission and back all sucked big time!

Tamago has been in love with the Genesis, its an awesome car...Just not the most desirable auto maker, but you cant fake the end result. Probably THE best car Hyundai has ever make!

I thought you were going to finish that statement with something along the lines of, "and then I couldn't decide which one I wanted to buy."
