Beer Tap Handle V2.0

I finally got my tap handle shifter installed. I started off with a resin tap handle, but it snapped off the day after install I found a better tap handle that was completely metal. I also had the shifter significantly shortened and an adapter from the standard thread in the toyota, to the thread for the tap handle. If this one breaks, I am going to get a real katana and go that route.

That is very cool! Those Sapporo tap handles are mighty expensive ($100+).

But are you gutsy enough to install an adult marital aid as your shifter?

Well, I went through 2 Kirin resin ones at ~70 each, then 2 wood ones ~$15 each, so I knew I needed a metal one.

I have this one and a back up that I snagged on ebay for about $80 each. So it's defiantly not cheap, but hopefully it will hold up. I have had a metal bud light one on there for about 2 months with no issues. It really came down to the material the attachment point to the shifter was made out of, so an all metal tap handle should hold up fine. The wooden ones just had a lag screw that went into the wood and wore out after a week or so. The resin Kirin tap handles snapped in half (while shifting) where the resin was glued together in pieces.

I'd really like to see that too... Not a huge fan of having logos all over the place.
A+ for originality, though!
