Interest in a unichip ecu tune ?????

Hey all,
I contacted unichip to see if they had a tuner for the yaris and this is the response I got back from them:

Hello Jay,

Thanks for the enquiry .

We do hundreds of hardwire installs & custom tunes of our Unichip on Yaris's elsewhere in the world. It's quite possible that we already have a Plug 'n Play harness in our inventory that will fit the Yaris , but we haven't done any of the tunes for the various bolt-on accessories for the Yaris . The reason for this is that our kits are far more advanced than other programmers on the market : we sell a complete computer which is tuned to your bolt-on's but also renders your ECU fully programmable , often beyond that which a standalone system offers but without the hassle . The "other guys" sell a computer program housed in a fancy plastic case . So basically we're more expensive than other programmers & it may be so that we're priced too high for the Yaris.

We could be wrong though , so if you're memebr of a Yaris Forum Group , why don't you do a survey & see how many takers there'd be for a say , 50 member group buy for our kit , based on a special selling price to the forum members of around $450 ?

Let us know , we'll assist as best we can.

Best regards,

Marinus Kuyl.
Unichip of North America Inc.

Lets start a list , put your name down if you need/would buy a programable tuner for your yaris

I have a used UNICHIP I'd like to get rid of. It came off a tC -- will sell for cheap.

If they can give us a tune ecu chip that puts out 25-30 whp, including header, axle-back, all under-drive pullies, and CAI.....

Then I'm in, and willing to put down $450....

Need more details and dyno chart of this chip on a Yaris before... or maybe they can have one of us test one for them~~

Get them to tune one for a blitz kit + bolt ons, with proof and impressive gains, and i would think they could have atleast 15 people buying one (including people who have a blitz kit, and people who would buy one after knowing you can get more power with this chip).

I think it was lost in the hack but I remember a local guy posting here after a unichip install, with dyno graphs showing some decent gains... I'll try and dig around the local forums as best I can for more info
