Talking 195/55/15 on a 7" rim?

I'm considering transferring my new rubber to some 7" rims and wondered how this would hold up.... Discount tire said that they would honor the warranty with balancing and rotations for life still but I'm wondering if this is OK to do. Trying to get all my ducks in a row before buying rims that I would hate to end up with for nothing.

Exactly what I'm running.

In other words: you're fine.

No worries. 195's will fit rims 5-7" wide.

Go for it! I run 195/55/15 tires with 7'' wheels, and I haven't had any problems. Eventually I'll get my fenders rolled and pulled, and will move up to 205/55/15 tires. I don't like having camber wear on tires just to fit some wheels.

The OP already owns the tyres and simply wants to install them on new wheels.
