Bringing it to the body shop today, see what the estimate is, and maybe get a modded hood

That's the cut in the vinyl to shape it behind the emblem

seriously... its hard to tell if there's damage to the bumper or possibly radiator, but everything but the hood looks untouched or salvageable. I'm especially surprised given the shape of the yaris it didn't flip up onto the windshield.

glad to hear you're ok.

Dang! Did it get the fenders at all, or is it just the hood and bumper?

Just the hood and bumper that I can see- though the hood is resting on the drivers side fender at the cowl, so I didn't open the hood to check anything else out cuz i would have dented the fender

Now that I look at it closer, I can see the edges. It actually looks better like that. You've got an "Xtreme Yaris" lol

But seriously, I'm surprised it didn't look any worse. I hope there was no mechanical damage

Venisson for everybody! j/k

glad you're OK, though.

Deer + car usually results more pronounced damage. I've seen cars completely totalled.
Hope it's not too expensive to fix.

BTW, good to see you back!

dang, 3800 is expensive! (but if you consider your car could have been totalled, maybe not?)
