Dirty Car Meet - Toyota Yaris Forums

Hey Quad staters!!! The Second Annual Dirty Car meet is in the planning stages! Offer your input! Make new friends! See Dirrrrrty Yarii!

Last year, a group of us met the weekend after Christmas in the overflow/commuter lot at the Palisades Center- Was really nice meeting/seeing all the folks from the summer meets, while not worrying about what the cars looked like- We even had guests from L.A.!

Since Christmas is on a Friday this year, I propose that we get together on Sunday, either the 27th of Dec., or the 2nd of January, in the same spot. This is an open plan- if anyone has anything better in terms of location or dates, let's hear it!

hasnt really snowed...so our yarii are clean :P bad news for me though...since i got another position at my job, my weekends are static at tues/wed :(

that meet at the overflow lot is a sweet spot though.

For someone who doesn't know, where is the Palisades Center? Is that the Palisades Mall?

Yep- that's the place- The overflow lot is nearest the Home depot, but on the other side of the beltway (the road that goes around the shopping center)

I might consider coming up depending on the weather. I know on the 26th I have family obligations. No clue about anything on the 27th. As for the 2nd, not sure if anything is going on yet.

My Mom-in-law passed away suddenly on Friday afternoon- if this is going to happen on the 26th/27th, I don't think I'm going to attend.

I do hope that this carries on though- it is good for all of us to meet and hang out and get to know each other. hopefully, i will see you all soon, whether at a meet, or an autocross event

We met for the Bear Mtn Run in the same location so, Devilgirl, you know where this is. Im down to meet up whenever folks decide it works. Bob, Im sorry to hear of your loss...lets meet up when you are free. Happy new year and such to all.
