Just got my 2010 :)
Just got my 2010 Yaris Sedan MT last night. I really liked the hatchback's but wanted a MT and with 2 kids - the 3 door doesn't work for me (no 5 door MT's in the 5 states surrounding me!) The only thing it has in it is the 'convenience package' - which you can't seem to get one without around here. Have already decided I am going to put the rear sway bar in but am not sure about much else? It is Silver Streak.
PS - I must say - I really love the cup holders! |

Congrats on the new Sedan, luv mine. and just installed the swaybar from microimage (Garm) and man does it make a difference. not one you notice pulling out the driveway, but within a few corners you'll feel it.And especially on the hiway, its more stable is the best way to put it.
Anyways congrats and enjoy! My first thing was a tint, second was a spoiler and third was the swaybar. next is wheels, when the tires go, which , with the way it handles now may be sooner than it should be,lol |

Oh, yes - besides the sway bar which I am going to get soon - I definitely need tinting especially here in Texas! I would like new wheels and a new grill, too but that will have to wait until I can get the money. I sadly have other things I need money for!

Out of all of the tons of mods you could do, the consensus on the forums is that the sway bar is the #1 best one to do.

I thought the change in the 2010 Yaris was the added front stabalizer bar and rear torsion beam (bar)???
Am I missing something? Sway bar? What is the difference between a stabalizer bar, torsion bar, and sway bar? You can still add another sway bar? I'm... Any help explaining would be much appreciated... Thanks

I can't really speak for the 2010 Yaris as my knowledge on it is limited, but I'm pretty sure a rear sway bar still makes a significant difference in the ride.

I just got mine yesterday. In MD we have a lot of the 5 door hatchback's. It helps to have a brother at the dealership too. I decided to lease the car for 36 months and if I like it I will purchase the remainder. This will keep the monthly payments low. Keeping it under 12,000 miles a year might be difficult but I live less than 3 miles from work. My car is the same color as STC's, but is a 5 door.
