esnips downloader...hijacked my firefox 4

Hey guys..

I wanted to download the Yarisworld DIY manual in PDF form a few weeks ago and when I clicked the PDF download link from this site for the maunal (http://www.esnips.com/web/yarisworld/).. I was sent to "esnips" website where the PDF is being hosted.. and when I went to download.. esnips then prompted me to use their downloaded software to get the PDF.

Anyways.. after I downloaded and installed "esnips downloader" and got the PDF I then un-instaled the software as it was just bloatware and I did not want it..
But now that I have uninstalled esnips off the computer.. it has hijacked my Firefox 4.0 browser Homepage URL.
Everytime I restart my browser now it auto sends/re-directs me to the esnips search engine page instead of my default homepage.

I don't know how to get rid of this crap now and it's pissing me off.. I am a pretty basic PC user.. and the only option that i read from google seems to advanced and i don't understand what they where talking about.

I tried several options that I found from Google on how to fix this.. but none have worked..

can anyone help.. or has anyone had this problem
And can you guys look into removing your manual PDF linked with "esnips"
It's got some sort or malicious virus/jacker attached to their software.

This is the place I found where someone uncounted my exact problem but I don't understand what they did to fix it.. http://ask.metafilter.com/170298/Fir...ow-do-I-rescue

Except Adobe reader, if you have reformatted your HD and it is no longer there.

See that's part of the isues.. everyone always suggests that at first.. and I did that of course.. But it's not that easy.

When you change your the start page (home page) in options back to what it should be.. it works at first
but once you close the browser and start a new session the hijackers takes over again and revets it's esnips search engine..

Well I fixed it anyway.. I went in to safe mode.. scaned with spy bot then deleted firefx 4 and all my browser info and re-istalled starting out fresh
