Looks great! I am still bitter that the US didn't get the push button starter and the cool European center stack in the hatchback.

We get screwed
Once again this is evidance to show you that we in north America get screwed. Why don't we get all that here... We get crap cars from the automakers here and then the cars the other guys bring in are so watered down it's crap... Why we put up with this shit, I don't know. I know the guy modified a bit, but dang the other stuff is still stock...
Nice car though man...! |

One of my former bosses in Germany had a Peugeot 106 (about the same size as the Yaris, maybe a bit smaller) with 180 HP - stock, although some special edition, not base, but still. My 4 liter Jeep Cherokee that I had before the Yaris had 180 HP... But on the other hand, the European market is tough, there is plenty of competition, the Italians, the French, the Germans, the British, even Spain with Seat they all have strong car manufacturing (and that's only the locals!) and then of course the Asian brands have to come up with good stuff to have a chance to compete. I mean, in Europe there is a Diesel version of the Yaris, I don't think you could get that here even if you asked for it. Heck, here you couldn't even get a Grand Cherokee Diesel, but they are available in Europe - engines manufactured in Austria, as a matter of fact. I love this country, but the auto market is a bit behind... The cars are more afordable overall and you get more bells and whistles for your buck, but, in my humble opinion, Europe has cooler cars. |

Hi
Great looking car. How have you managed to get it up to 220km/h.? Which modifications have you done to the engine? Which aircleaner do you have? Regards Steven. |
