twm short shifter installed!

GF bought me the twm short shifter for my bday!! Installed it right away on my sedan!

Very easy install!!!! BUT i found the uninstalling part pretty damn difficult!!! without the dremel to cut the small clip was a pain!! was trying to wedge and wedge and pry and pry.... extremely frustrating! at one point, my screwdriver slipped and my knuckle got scraped! Blood was shed during the uninstallation ! Then prying 2 screwdrivers into the slot and trying to pop that cap off was painful too... everything was extremely tightly fitted! But once that was done, it took me like 25 mins or less to put things back together!

The shifter is awesome! No complaints at all. Not too short and it looks really good! Ill try and post a pic soon! Camera is charging :)

dngz hey nice shift knob... question for you. yours is a yaris sedan i believe. I see it is with power windows but your stereo is not integrated... how did you do that? in our area.. if you choose +power package they make the stereo HU intergrated... it's pain in the a$$ to change the HU to an aftermarket one unlike yours.

Mine headunit is stock! There are two types out there. Most American, or not all, have the intergrated HU with the buttons on the side and the screen in the middle. I think you can change that and you can buy the stuff from the factory. Ask around in the Audio/Sound forum. I don't kno much about the sound system for everything related to that on my car is stock! Sorry!

Looking good, glad to hear you're happy with the short shifter! Thanks for posting up the pics.

I agree that the metal clip on the side of the assembly can be tough the first time. I always slice it with a Dremel then it comes off really easily.

Good job, it looks sharp ;)

That looks amazing. will def. get one for my yaris when I get it.

Does tvm have short shifters for the cb7 (90-93 accords) I'll be using the h23 manual tranny. (not that it matters.)

Hi wlfpck,

We do not have a short shifter at this time for the 90-93 accord, however we may develop one in the future. If you would like to sign up to our newsletter at www.twmperformance.com you will be notified upon its release.

Thanks,

Kevin

Is it easy for everyday use?

Isn't it very short?Does the short shifter reduce the 0-80mph time?
