new axle back exhaust. carbon fiber Hindle.

Motorcycle can on a yaris.

I asked if anybody had done this before the board crashed. somebody said yes but nobody had pics.

$25 for scratched can on ebay.
$60 labor + parts at the muffler shop

the can is true carbon fiber not a sticker wrapped around metal. so its cool to the touch a minute after you get done running hard.
also the can weighs like 3lbs. i think it was 6 lbs in the shipping box including the box and all the packing material that was included. the new price of that can is about $450
you can see a little bit of the road rash just barely on the top part of the tip, but the worst road rash [which still isn't too bad] is hidden by the spring.
the smudge of rtv is leftover from another project i tried to use it on, not from the muffler shop.

its a little loud- basicly a 2" straight shot 20 or 22" long [i forget which]
It took me a while to get used to the magnaflow on my colorado. and i have 3 sheets of dynamat leftover that i can use to double layer
some of the hatch area to quiet it down some.

all in all, i figure its pretty good bang for the buck. it would look a little cooler if it were only a 16" can and mounted more level, but I am not going to complain..

Our friend has a GSXR600 exhaust on his Festiva; it's super quiet though haha.

Looks good.

Great idea! Very thrifty!

Also, excellent suspension you got there! I'm envious.

crushbent .. yeah mandrel would be better.. but it is going from what 1 1/4" stock to 2" crushbent. still an upgrade in capacity. the guys who did the exhaust also put in my trd struts and springs and did the allignment all for $230. so i wasn't goin to complain about the bend since i felt i got a deal..
at least around here thats a pretty good deal.

sound clip. man this is turning into an allnight thing. used to have vista premium before my harddrive crashed. that would have easily taken the file off my camera or phone and mpg uploadable. now i only have vista basic. no video manipulation.. so i went looking for an avi to mpg software and now it looks like i may have grabbed one with a virus..

will keep trying..

stock is 1.75", but i know what you mean...got a good deal....i think most of the flow gained will be by the muffler as the oem muffler is pretty restrictive (im sure the pipe is still at or near 1.75" at the bend...so at least stock)

you can upload whatever files you want to photobucket.com, i think
