From what I've read, the Rota Attack 15" is 10lbs, but you can't find them in any color except orange.

There's an Enkei 15" that's reported at 9.1lbs, but it costs.

The Konig Heliums are 11.5lbs, and alot of people on here use them.

I just ordered a set of Maxxim Assault 15"s, that are 11lbs, each. They are on sale at: www.jlbmotorsports.com for $350/set shipped.

Kimona is the MAN when it comes to wheels. He's the guy to ask a wheel question.

SSR Type C is 10.5 pounds for 16 x 7, Type F is 11 pounds. Super light for a 16" wheel.

The lightest wheels I've ever seen I just sold to Gideon - VOLK CE28N 14x5.5 - 6.5 pounds each!

Is Kimona really a man? His avatar is gorgeous but he really knows his wheels and tires, or "tyres" as he spells it.

dude, wow it's been a long time since i been here. Just destroyed one of my stock wheels hitting something, and now that i actually have money i'm going to buy something aftermarket. I remember searching for prices for the aforemetnioned volks before, but anyone know offhand a good place to get them online? Or even better, anywhere in the orlando, fl area?

according to ssr's catalog, the 15in. type-c in 15x5.5(+42) comes in at 9.6# while the same wheel in 15x6 is 8.4# for +38 and 8.0# in +45. maybe the wheel gods can chime in, but shouldn't the 5.5 in. wide wheel be less weight than the 6 in. wheel? bolt patterns on both wheels are 4x100. btw, i just looked at the pictures of gideon's volks - OMG!!!!!!!!!! are volks any more affordable than ssr's?

Hey "why?"! I haven't seen you around here in a long time!

But yeah, my set of Motegi Traklites are 16x6.5, and weigh in at 12.1 lbs each. Coupled with a lightweight tire (Falken Ziex 512), I'm saving 3lbs per corner, while running a wider tire and a bigger rim!

light rims are mostlikely good only for tracks... slight bump or pot holes will easily damage them..

Mine are forged, dude... I bet they're pretty strong. Still, I'm not going pothole-hunting!

ah some of the lightest wheels are stock. like the stock 82-84 Supra wheels. My dad has over 250,000 miles on his 82, all with the stock forged wheels, and never had a problem.
