Yarii in the movie Street Fighter
I saw Street Fighter yesterday. When they were in Bangkok, I was hoping to see a whole bunch of Yarii, seeing as how they seem to be a big deal in Thailand. I saw a grand total of TWO: a sedan and a red hatchback that looks like eTiMaGo's. And only in one scene. Lame planning = disappointment to Yaris owners.

hahahahaha who knows, my car was at the garage, some fuel was used form the tank, it may have had a secret cameo
Though I have yet to see the movie, I wonder if much of it was *really* filmed in Bangkok

To be honest, it wasn't that great of a movie (not just because of the absence of Yarii). But eTiMaGo, let us know if it resembles your car (or is your car, in fact) and if it is, in truth, filmed in Bangkok. I wouldn't know, you see.

Had a feeling the movie was a flop, just like the first one some 15 years ago. Thanks Bond for confirming it, you saved me the $12 movie ticket I could've better used for a 12-pack

i've seen trailers, clips, etc. The movie is a FAIL to the extreme.
got a 2.5 / 10 stars... you have to try to fail that hard. Although i do feel bad for Kristin Kreuk. Maybe she'll do better in the Smallville movie... |

one review I read summed it up great, this kind of movie you go to watch solely for the action scenes, who cares about plot. But in this case even the action sucked... I'll wait to borrow the DVD from someone

I would like to know how you can have a Street Fighter Movie without Ken and Ryu? I havent seen it but heard that they weren't even in it.

why isn't chun-li chinese? that's bothering me...i was thinking about seeing it because it has yarii in it...now i dunno...and no Ken and Ryu?
*update* I just found out the Kreuk is half Chinese... but Chun-li isn't half Chinese... There was a question about Kreuk being Chinese when there really shouldn't have been for her to play that part. It's like Justin Chadwick playing Goku...LOL Last edited by slothman86; 03-10-2009 at 08:06 PM. |

They mentioned Ryu right at the very end. Unfortunately the end was left a little bit open...for a sequel. Oh god.

they should of just set up a Street Fighter 4 game and had people play against eachother. i bet that would draw more of a crowd than a Street Fighter movie about a half chineese chun li
