Hi from across the pond
Hi I'm the proud owner of a new yaris t spirit 1.3vvti in the uk and need help on which would be the best set up as far as wheels are concerned, i have already lowered the car with the Toyota factory springs (they are supplied by TTE here in the uk) would 18s be too big i know 18's do fit have seen the trd wheels.

Congrats on the purchase and welcome!!
18's are nice, but most have gone w/ smaller wheels... as discussed in some other threads the stopping power on factory brakes combined with 18's isn't what it should be. As well 18's will really slow down the car, but as with everything the final choice is yours.. so decide what you'd like to do! |

thats what i was thinking the brakes do look a bit weedy, especially the drum brakes at the back.

Definitely.. how much hp do you get on the 1.3?? we have a little over 100hp on the 1.5.... so that'll be another concern.. you may want to go 17's max.. but for daily driveability stick with 15's or 16's
