Hello Everyone,
My first message here~:) I'm going to trade-in my 2005 corolla for a 2009 3Door Yaris hatchback possibly this weekend, but I'm still deciding if I should upgrade a CE to whatever I want, or just get a RS instead. (Since RS is only $10-$15 more each month...) I've seen a lot of Yaris on the street, but most of them are CEs, is it because what I've heard that CE is easier to find mod parts? Or RS is just not worth it?? I need your suggestions! Thanks! Last edited by Weyweyjenn; 04-21-2009 at 02:57 AM. |

06-07 Canadian RS model don't include front and rear lip + small spoiler, that is why I go for LE model.
I think it make more sense to get 09 RS model now because it come with much better spoiler + very unique front, rear lip right now. I believe not much have changed for RS interior. If you like some nice interior + some nice exterior then go for RS model. Go for CE model if you plan to keep the cost down or mod it from CE model to make it look unique.

Yeah I just went with a RS recently (2009 5dr) and I think it basically comes down to if you like the look of the front lip and the spoiler on your car, because it does slightly change how it looks (especially the front). Aside from that, I'd say the extras are worth it, as it basically tacks on every available option that you would have had to pay one by one for with the CE.
That said, I'm loving my RS. Not too many on the roads though, but I guess that makes it more unique considering the sheer number of normal Yarii around. |
