bored + free =

well, I don't know if anyone knows of Journey's shoes, but at each store they hand out free, colorful little limited edition stickers in the shape of a hand. when I was younger, my friends and I collected several and I decided to finally put them to use...

I was curious about the the outcome, and decided a little color would be cool. I applied the stickers, then followed the outline with a razor (not very smooth edges, oh well)...nothing fancy but I like it. original maybe?

Since I work at a sign shop, I was thinking of doing the same kind of thing with mine overlay style. What's nice that unlike painting, going back to original or changing color is easy.

If you do that, look me up. I'll definitely purchase a decal once you have that template down.

so far it hasn't (~800 miles). i'm not too worried, as it is not exactly a high dollar investment and i wasn't expecting much in the first place. if it bubbles, peels, or loses color oh well. although, i'm sure the foam attatched to the reverse side of the engine cover helps the heat issue somewhat
