What filament does the DL running light use?

Since the Yaris use a double filament headlight bulb, (a single bulb for both low and hight beam) I'm curious about which filement the DLRL uses.

Most cars use the high beam at lower voltage for DLRL.

I assume that the Yaris does the same but, i just wanted a definitive answer.
I guess I will still have to wait on this.

1. walk out to your vehicle.
2. turn on vehicle.
3. look to see which filament is lit ;)

heheeh sorry man, it just appeared to be the most definitive solution.

On my 2009 daytime running ligts use a separate smaller bulb located apart from the primary bulb - very clever and efficient set-up. Or am is not getting the question?

i think you're referring to the 'city light' the 194 bulb.

Not really. The view of the headlight bulb is obscured by some sort of decroativ/reflective shield.

From the 09 service manual:

(2) The Running light relay assembly controls the on/off operation of the following part.
• Headlight (Low)
