If you're refering to the "theater fade" style dome lighting, I could try to find one of my old modules for that.

I'll see what I can find, pretty sure I've got a circuit schematic for that somewhere.

Guys can someone take a picture of a 2006 or 2007 Yaris dome lamp and post it? if you can open it or take a picture of the back side it will be better!!!

I'll appreciate it...

... This is actually a setting that can be set by your dealer. Call them and ask them if they have the Equipment to do it.

Read it in the Interior Electronics/Electronics section of the Repair Manual, there are a BUNCH of settings that can be set.

Sets for 0sec Fade, 1sec Fade, 3sec Fade, 5 sec Fade, 10 and 15 I believe.

I asked this very question on another forum. I was told that the setting can be changed by the dealer. I have an appointment next week to have my reset. I'll repost then and let you know who the appointment went.

yeah but my point is this: my car does not even have that as an option, it is a Yaris '05 HB... what i need is a circuit that can store power for 15 secs on the negative pole since when the door is closed the ground gets interrupted instead of the positive.

Delyed Dome Light

I just returned form the dealer - they are NOT able to reporgram the dome light on the 3 Door LB sold inthe USA. Oddly, the light stays on for 15 seconds after placing the car in park and removing the key.

I contacted Toyota directly and they have confirmed that the delay CAN be changed. So back to the dealer I will go.

Last Word?

I went to the dealer again for another issue and asked again about having the dome light reprogramed. I was told that the dome light on my model of Yaris CAN NOT be programed. Sad.
