sway bar... Toyota dealers must be insane!

Just for the hell of it I visted my local toyota dealer (right down the road) from me) to see what they wanted for the rear sway bar.

Well. they wanterd full MSRP price and & $70 for install!
The assistant service manager never even heard of a Yaris rear sway bar berfore I came in.


Then, I called another Toyota dealer in a nearby town who once gave me a great deal on a TRD exhaust for my Celica. They also wanted full, MSRP price and $95 for install!

So I just ordered one (23mm) from Garm.

I has to pass by the dealer anyway.

Thats why you never go to a dealer unless you are buying a car or having something fixed under warranty.

Probably becase the 19mm is more like the TRD bar that you expressed intrest in.

I believe he currently still has the 23mm in stock.
