Unhappy H E L P...Your Brother needs your help Plz!

Hello Brother and sister Yaris Owners,

Today I added some new LED lights to the front of my car.
I was not thinking, and connected them to the parking lights via jumpers, live<--stupid, I know better.

Well now everything electrical works on the car, but my parking lights!.I know they are getting voltage because when I set my alarm, the blink.

Might anyone know where the fuse for the driving/parking lights are?

Now I can't drive at night

By the way, thanks in advance

you mean the headlights?

worst case - you might have blown the filaments.

best case - check the under hood fuse panel and the under steering column fuse panel.

LH headlamp and rh headlamp

might have found the answer

I think it's my headlight dimmer switch. Been researching online. I understand that if you add more lights to the dimmer circuit, it will blow the switch. I hope that's the problem. Don't know how much the switch is though! I live down the street f/ a dealer. Guess i'll find out tomorrow

you added jumpers to your instrument panel (IPC) dimmer switch?

I'm not 100% sure of what it is you've done.

mind explaining it in more detail ?

here it is...

I connected "jumped" an led strip about 24 leds to the driving light circuit. I connected the first one w/ no problem, then with light lights on,<--stupid
I connected the second strip to the other driving light circuit, looked at the front of my car, and no lights. Headlights work fine, no parking/driving lights. Headlights, brake lights, interior lights, radio, dash, and cig socket work fine. Just the driving lights i.e. the lights that come on before you turn on the headlights. Not sure what to replace/fix.
Connected the led strips to the little lights in the headlight unit on the top sides of the headlights.

If you haven't solved it yet, check the 10A TAIL fuse in the fuse panel that is under the bottom of the dash.

fixed

Yeah, took it to the dealer, the wanted to charge my $100.00 for the first hour to troubleshoot the issue. Talked to the mechanic first (crept in the shop), and asked the mechanic. He sd it's a fuse, I advised his I could not find the fuse. So after almost cursing out the service advisor (bought two toyotas from that dealership), agreed to charge $25.00 for 1/4th an hour to see if it was a fuse. Was fixed in five minutes. I forgot about the fuses you can't see under the dash (by the pedals). Didn't change me anything.

Sometimes I am too smart for my own good. Look over simple things when I know better. Well the lights are Too cool, look like the new Audi's led strips. I'll post pics soon. And again, thanks to all that helped!:
