Interior light kit DIY? - Toyota Yaris Forums

I'm thinking about giving this a go. The price they're charging for that thing is too much. Here's what I found.

$4.99 each

$3.99 each

It would be ideal to find a 3 way switch so that it could be wired like the dome light, still searching for that. It seems like the total cost of this could be under 20 bucks. I think they're selling for around 150. I might go for it.

I wired up my own using the existing open fuse spots. Just made sure it was on an "Accessory" Circuit. i dont plan on turnin them off while driving so ^_^

WHere are you getting the LED Tubes? I am using Neons myself.

Most places that sell supplies to mod computers sell the LED as well as the cold cathodes... I prefer LED tubes myself, they stand up better to temperature changes and vibration.

I'm also running neons under the dash and seats above my amps.

They are wired up using a two swy lighted rocker switch just like the ones you have posted.

These tubes are going on 6 or 7 years now.
