Stock Head Unit Glitch

I installed polk audio DB 6501 speakers in my car and it sounds amazing. However, now I get an issue after driving several miles that the head unit lcd screen goes blank, and if i press on any buttons, the CD will pop out automatically. If i push the CD back in, the screen will stay blank as the music plays. Once the screen eve displayed "error 1". Anyone know why this happens?

Head unit is a goner. Should be covered under warranty even with aftermarket speakers.

there is usually a very small, depressed button on the front that you can push with the end of a pen. Holding that down for 10 seconds or so should reboot the head unit. That's the only trick I know, and it only fixes glitched software, not hardware (something physically broken).

My head unit would also pop out the CD and the LCD blanked out a few times. I went to the dealer and they put in a new head unit.

My stock head unit does the same thing. Especially when the weather gets hot. Tapping on the power button would sometimes make the screen come back.

I'll mention this to the dealer once the Yaris is up for service, they should fix or replace it.
