Body Side Graphics
I haven't seen anyone here with much in the way of wild vinyl graphics on the sides of their cars. I am thinking I may want some sort of Z-shape or lightning or zig-zag graphics in a contrasting color. I am wanting the car to eventually look like a Hot Wheels car. j/k!
I even looked at total wraps, but don't think I would go that far. The guy at the graphics shop is real interested in getting me to a) part with my dollars, and b) get some wild design going at least on the sides of the car. Maybe something like this?

I discussed this back in 07 and the general consensus was that people don't care for them. As for me, it is your car, make of it what you will. Be unique. As my avatar says..."Dream Big, Do Bigger". Not sure how that particular graphic would look...too bad they don't have a simulator?

A while back, I saw this white Lancer with a high def hood sticker of Spiderman, it looked like Spiderman was crouched on his hood with his arms to the side of the hood. On the side of the car, there was webbing.
It really was amazingly done. Spiddy sitting on your hood and webbing coming out of his hands on both car sides. Don't know how much that cost him, but it probably wasn't cheap. |

If someone offered me money to put thier company name on my car, I would love it, but not the redbull w/ thier huge can on the roof would be a nusance.

definitely rice for those who are keeping up with the 'what's rice' thread...
any way, i like the old school supra on fast and furious sticker...but i wouldnt put it on my car. also, i like the tribal patterns that they've come out with...but again i wont put it on my car. i will however put something like taz or buggs on my car...so get what you will and put it on and let us know how it turns out. |

It could work, but you'd have to plan carefully first. Speaking of stuff like this, I always wanted to have one of those cars that had like a thousand bumper stickers on the back, that just seems cool to me. I think I am going to do it with my current hatch, and then when i get a cf one I can decide if I like it or not.

My opinion....its your car do what you want with it...most important thing is that you're pleased with it...
Plus you can't please everyone...some will love how it looks and some will hate on it and call you a ricer...no biggie. My car Before After (Now) |

Wow Terrorize! Body wrap? I've seen some really nice ones of those, and they are tempting. I like yours, BTW.

Body Graphics
ChrisJ do what you like, screw the haters. I am from the old school crowd. I had silver skunk stripes and side rocker stripes on my Blue 08. I was going for the GT40 look. It really looked good, I loved it and thats all that counts. The right color off set and pattern and your car would look awesome. Its all about personal taste. Best of all if you don't like it, you can peel it off.

I personally can't stand the look of excessive graphics / company names plastered everywhere, but to each his own. As has been said multiple times already, you need to like the look... not everyone else. Personally, I think a two-tone pinstripe and tasteful use of decals is the way to go.
Like it, hate it, whatever. I likes it |
