Fuel Range Indicator Problem
So. My Yaris has 1/2 tank of fuel in it. Yet the range states 25miles left and its dropping... (fuel bars staying the same...)
Any ideas? The dome fuse recently blew twice (which controls the digi-range) as you know.... could this be the cause? Thanks. |

It sounds like they are out of sync. The service manual for the digital cluster doesn't mention anything about resetting or resyncing it, so maybe it will clear itself once it sees a full tank.

Yeah... after getting to zero and sitting at zero for some time (on a half tank) it re-set itself. Holding TRIP also resets it but i was receiving an error everytime I did that. Now it says RESET OK.

God I wish we had all those nice electronic toys on our Toyotas. The US gets the plain jane models.
